LIVING FAITH
TOPIC: THE LIFE OF NOAH
TEXT: HEB. 11
We understood that what makes faith a living faith is faith with work, because faith without work is a dead faith (James 2:26). Faith before work is a living faith, while work before faith is a death faith.
It was established that God was pleased with Noah and his household because of his faith in God, in which he became the heir of righteousness by faith.
And it was also established that the grace Noah found in the sight of God was not as a compensation of his works before God but it is rather by his faith in God because the Bible says; “But without faith it is impossible to please him…” (Heb. 11:6)
So, God was pleased with Noah because he have faith in God. Through his obedience to the word of God he was moved with fear to prepare the ark to the saving of his life and his entire household by which he condemned the people of his time to the destruction of the flood.
Beloved, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, His foundation standeth sure and His standard has never change and will never change, all God want from you is to put your faith in Him and trust Him all the way because faith is following God blindly even when you’re not sure of the direction and process He is taking you through.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Heb. 11:6 KJV)
