Day 9 – What makes God Smile
As a creature created by a creator, your goal should be to be a pleasure to the one who made you. Showing forth the praise of him that has planned you first before you’d ever dream of making plans for your life. Your first purpose in life is to please your maker and there is a need to discover how to go about.
You may not be able to make God smile by your doings but aligning your doings to His pattern makes it possible. And it is by our acts of worship that we bring smile to the face of God. There are five acts of worship that brings smile to God.
By Loving God Supremely
Trusting Him completely
Obeying Him wholeheartedly
Praising and thanking him continually
Making use of our abilities for His glory
We were made for God’s enjoyment and finding our enjoyment in His makes God smile with our lives.
Point to ponder: God smiles when you trust Him.
Question to Consider: Since God what is best, in what areas of my life do I need to trust him most?
