Day 24 – Transformed by Truth
Everything was made by God’s word, nothing was made without the word of God. Genesis 1:2-3 ‘And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.’ It was seen from creation that the word of God brings life, transforms and changes situations. Certainly the product of a man’s life is as result of the words he is filled with.
As believer’s we become like the son of God(Christ) by expression of God’s word in us. Unlike other words, God’s word is alive, it generates life, creates faith, produce changes, builds characters, cleanses our minds, brings things into being. The truth is if God will do anything in your life, it is his word he send out but the manifestation and expression of it is proportional to our surrendering and subscription to it. In a way we have a permissive will to God’s word in our lives.
It expedient that as Christians we hold the word of God in topmost priority in our lives so as to grow spiritually and become and be shaped for the task God has for us. What makes you a true disciple of God is in our abidance in God’s word by accepting its authority, assimilating its truth, applying its principles makes us profit withal.
