PERSONALITY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT continued

The Holy Spirit relates with anything and anyone. It is noticed that this precious animating force maximizes his tools to the fullest capacity as He wishes, except for man. In relating with man, it is wonderful to note that he is quantifiable, depending on each man’s permission and permeability. This means that he is ‘measurable’ in the extent to which he interacts, fills or uses the human vessels. Animals, object of weather, and other media often yield totally to be used of his influence without restraints.  Nevertheless, man decides the extent of influence, and of course, He yields. He obeys and occupies the amount of space allotted to Him.

Unlike other spirits and energy forms, this incorporeal but substantial being’s primary assignment is define in his name –to make holy. He purges and purifies vessels and present it fit for God to use through sanctification. The amount of work done on the vessel determines the extent of use by the Master. This is significant and pronounced in the use of water or anointing oil to sanctify, dedicates, ordain or consecrate an item, a structure, a child or a person for the Lord. Such becomes sacred and to be treated with honor and special attention. Next time, anointing services are to be taken seriously, as everything anointed are made sacred for the use and attention of the Master. No wonder the bible says ‘what? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?’

The first thing we came to know about God is that He works. The works of creation weren’t just mere pronouncements but consciously and cautiously planned designs. The Holy Spirit works, also. With little time for frivolities, he works continuously and deliberately. His workings are diverse as his mode of appearance is. He baptizes, cautions, comforts, consecrates, converts, convicts, empowers, enables, entreats, forbids, gives (utterances, gifts, power, charisma, boldness,…) guides, heals, help, instructs, judges, leads, prays, purges, purifies, quickens, reminds, renews,  reveals, speaks, teaches, and so on.

He can be lied to, yet can’t be deceived. He can be resisted but cannot be put out forever. He can be received but cannot be purchased. He can be blasphemed and can also be revered. A perfect gentle and holy spirit he is. All His in-workings are often experienced and enjoyed by their outward results by persons around the bearer. He is not just a spirit for a feeling or fillings’ sake. We cannot claim to possess same spirit that raised Jesus’ body and be without effect or evidences. If what we claim to carry was what created the universe, Fruitless Christianity deserves a curse.
