YOU AND YOUR HEALTH

Health is wealth, says the sage. And do you know, that God desires you to be in perfect health? Yes, He sure does. But as much as God desires you to be in perfect health, and has provided all you need from His end; you also have a role to play. There are responsibilities that God has committed in our hands to do in order to enjoy what He has made available, of which are:

  1. Understanding what God has said about you, and your health: Knowledge is light, and understanding brings life to knowledge. The Scriptures is littered with the Truth that God wants us to know about our health. 
  2. Understanding your body system: It is what you know that you can manage. As much as God has blessed you with a beautiful body structure, your due knowledge helps you to take care of the gift that God has given to you.
  3. Due diligence: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Learn to give your body the rest it deserves, whilst not taking as a means to get lazy. Balancing work-rest ethics is very important in a healthy lifestyle
  4. Healthy Eating: You are what you eat.  Your spirit feeds on the Word of God, your soul feeds on the revelation of the Truth, while your body grows as a result of the physical food that you eat. Take note of food which have little or no advantage on your body, and replace it with foods that are beneficial
  5. Engage in rewarding activities. Exercise is very important in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Appreciate who God has made you to be, and reward yourself for achieving milestones.
