TOPIC: GOD SPEAKS THROUGH THE CHURCH
Many Christians today feel that their walk with God is private and independent. They see no need for joining a church or making themselves help others accomplish the ministry God has given them personally. What God is doing in and through the body is essential to my knowing wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ. This was Paul’s goal Father has placed them in the body.
But as christian, your message is to listen. It is crucial to remember that a need does not equal a call. Never be reluctant to ask the church to help you understand God’s will. The Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church all point to the same thing, according to what you are hearing. Be cautious what you say; you’ve already said more about your view of God than your church. Any advice the church gives you is to be considered. After then, let God affirm what He has spoken.
When trying to figure out what role you are to play in the kingdom, you may and should rely on God to communicate to you via other Christians and the church. To operate properly in that body, every believer depends on every other believer. Without the advice other members of the body of Christ may offer, you cannot completely understand God’s plan for your participation in it.
