DAY 7 – THE DEGREES OF FAITH

Faith is the heart of our spiritual life, but some people’s faith produces fruit and others don’t. This is because the Bible’s faith has different degrees. Little faith, great faith, and a spirit of faith. Our level of insight determines the degree of faith with which we operate.

Little faith cannot confront challenges. Great things cannot be accomplished with it. Little faith is exhibited when we trust ourselves and others instead of God (Luke 18:8). Do not forget that faith is a requirement for receiving anything from God. Let’s be violent with our faith (Acts 14:9–10, Mark 2:5).

“Great faith” is the total and positive opposite of “little faith.” Great faith will always have it the way it wants it, the way it wills it. breaking the rules of impossibilities. We see this in Matthew 8:7–13. Great faith is built by taking deep root in the Word of God.

The measure of what we give is the amount of results we get; we can also say that with faith. That’s why we must build our faith to a level where we begin to operate by the Spirit of Faith – the God kind of faith. Second Corinthians 4:13. This becomes as easy as breathing (Hebrews 10:23), and all affairs of life are naturally under control.

Operating in the spirit of faith means we command the faithfulness of God at will. At this point, we begin to speak things naturally, not confessing them but simply proclaiming them: “We cannot be “Sick!” vibrates inside us as we say it. Bible faith becomes our lifestyle; we respond to all issues with faith ethics: “We have believed, therefore we speak.” A case study is Joshua and Caleb (Numbers 14:24). It’s important to note that the Spirit of Faith is continuously reacting; it’s a reactionary force that can’t bear anything that contradicts it.
