THE UNLIMITED POWER OF FAITH

DAY ONE – THE FOOLISHNESS OF FAITH

When weighed against one’s own standards of judgment, faith does need not be logical. Knowing that faith is dumb will make it easier for you to accept faith and have trust in every biblical command. Consider the command found in Proverbs 11:24: There are things that scatter but yet grow, and there are things that hang on to more than is necessary but lead to poverty.

The world did not understand God at that point in God’s wisdom, God was glad to save those who believed through the foolishness of preaching. Because the Jews want a sign and the Greeks seek knowledge, we proclaim the crucified Christ as a trap for the Jews and folly for the Greeks. Christ embodies both God’s strength and wisdom.

Similar to how Jesus performed these miracles by using the folly of faith:

  1. Jesus fed 5,000 people with five loaves!
  2. The resurrection of Lazarus!
  3. Wine Made From Water

The natural inclination when something isn’t functioning is to respond negatively, but the Bible commands us to rejoice in the LORD Habakkuk 3:1. In the game of life, folly of trust is the winning ticket. Just Do whatever God instructs you to do.
