Day 6 – Life is a Temporary Assignment
You have to know this; life here on earth is a brief one because the earth itself is not meant to last forever, it a temporary residence. This implies, Earth is not your home, it not your resting place.
Grasping this truth is necessary to guide your pursuit in life. You were sent here on earth to relate with the earth and not to get so attached to it forgetting that your stay is temporal.
In order to keep us from becoming attached to earth is the reason why God allows us to feel a significant amount of discontent in life-longings that will never be fulfilled on earth. Why?, Because earth is not our final home, we were created for more.
Your identity is in eternity and not on earth because, earth will pass away with all that has been acquired on it. Don’t put all your energy into having it all here on earth forgetting that, here is not your home, you were created for something much better.
