Day 35 – God’s Power in your weakness

God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness, because He wants to help us and the truth is He is not just needing strong men so that they glory in themselves, He works more with weak men that through them He can display His strength.
He also need men because he cannot walk with the proud or the scornful, for a man to be humble he must first acknowledge his weaknesses and then he is helped.
Do not be ashamed of your weakness, the strength of God covers for us, and then we learn to trust God for our every need, we must learn to be content with our weakness, it is there to serve God’s purpose, note our weaknesses are not sinful habits that we ought to do away with, God will not accommodate sin, he hates sin. Talk about your weakness, share it, so that men can learn and so that they will be aware that we are humans too, sharing it will not decrease you.
Use your weakness for Christ’s glory, glory in it for Christ’s sake.
God uses our weakness to build our dependence on him, he also uses our dependence to slow us down when we try to run ahead of him.

Point to Ponder: God works best when I admit my weakness.
Verse to Remember: “My Brace is sufficient for you, my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9a (NIV)
Question to Consider: Am I limiting God’s power in my life by trying to hide my
weaknesses? What do I need to be honest about in order to help others?
