DAY 34 – THE SECRET OF HOLINESS
Standing before the throne of God is the greatest of all honor, and the highest of all delights. Even the demons envy the favor you have with God, the angels gape in wonder. And it’s all because you have embraced His call to Holiness. You have purified your heart, sprinkled your conscience with His blood and made yourself ready with white robes of righteousness deeds.
God desire that we live a blameless life that is not subject to reproach by those who live closest to us. And living this blameless life gives us the privilege of standing continually in His presence. Holiness is a purity of heart that opens the pathway to the greatest heights of communion with God. It is a derived quality. The oy source of holiness is ‘the Holy one. A person is holy only to the extent of abiding in His holy presence.
The Spirit of God is Holy, He dwells only with those whose hearts are directed towards holiness. Holiness is a life lived before the throne of God. Just and holy men cause kings to tremble because they aren’t just pure but also burn with the flame that comes from their fiery abode around the throne. Holiness is pursued for the sake of love. God will do whatever it takes to bring us into this holiness. The Bible point out that the main purpose of God chastening in our lives is primarily “that we may be partakers of His holiness” (Hebrews 12:10).
Just as chastening produces infirmity and brokeness, holiness produces resurrection, deliverance and healing. It was Christ’s holiness that precipitated His resurrection. The secret to your redemption is to live in the secret place of the Most High.
Practice the holiness of His presence for Holiness will rise again
