DAY 27 – THE SECRET OF FEELING ATTRACTIVE TO GOD

An important piece to the success of your secret place is the way you view God or your thoughts on how God views you and the truth is that the devil knows this. He is ready to make you view God as a father who is always harsh, never satisfied with your performances and frustrated with the rate of your spiritual growth and unfortunately that false idea of God will begin to drive your emotional responses to Him, you’ll become wearied at trying to please Him and your soul will not partake in the enjoyment of serving God but When you gain ownership of the fact that God is smiling on you, that He is desiring your company, and that He longs to be intimate with you, then the truth of that reality starts to touch your emotional
chemistry, and you actually begin to feel attractive to God!
It all starts with understanding how God feels about the cross of Christ; God is infinitely and eternally passionate about His Son’s Cross and those who place their faith in this great demonstration of Love come under intense Favour in the sight of God, because you believe in Christ’a sacrifice you become a member of the family of God, you become a child of God and as synonymous to a child, you go into the secret place with boldness( the way God wants it). Our spiritual state doesn’t reduce the way God loves us. He knows our weaknesses and he sees our failures, but yet He enjoys us, he enjoys when we fall and we drag ourselves back into His arms.

     Psalm 45:11 tells us how our beloved Lord feels when He looks at us: “So the King will greatly desire your beauty.” This is how the King looks at His bride who has left everything in order to be joined

to her Husband. Therefore you are stunningly beautiful to Jesus! And not only do you long for His presence; He also longs for yours. Not only are you attractive to Jesus, you are also embraced passionately by God, He describes you as the apple of His eye which means He values and guards you in the same context as which He does His eyes.

      He waits for you to come to Him! He waits all night long, watching over you, waiting for you to rise, hoping that He might be the first thought of your morning. You don’t have to wonder if He wants you to come into the secret place. He has been waiting for you, and He’ll continue to wait for as long as necessary—be-cause His heart is bound up in your life.

May you have grace from above to truly own the reality of this powerful secret: God finds you attractive!
