QUESTIONS AND ANSWER
Q. How can I know the person God wants me to marry?
A. Beloved, this is a common question among the youth of these days. The best way to answer this is to “visit” the garden of Eden once again. “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept; he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh thereof” – Genesis 2:21
Whenever God put his BELOVED into a DEEP SLEEP, He has glorious things in mind. So the first is that ‘are you saved?’. Are you one of his beloved? If that is settled, then your destiny and helpmeet is secured in Christ Jesus. Don’t try to help God. Don’t try to catalyze the work of God by human effort and wisdom.
“For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; in returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:…”Isaiah 30:15
You can now see that your “ULTIMATE SEARCH” and “OPERATION SHINE YOUR EYES” cannot bring you will of God. Let your physical eyes, ears, legs and hands be ASLEEP! A DEEP SLEEP; because they cannot discern rightly in this issue. “ …and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears”- Isaiah 11:3. So the FIRST key to discover your helpmeet is to be PHYSICALLY ASLEEP AND SPIRITUALLY ALIVE. This does not mean you should close your eyes when walking around; but it means you should let God have His way!
Adam was asleep when God took one of his ribs, but how did he know that Eve was the bone of his bones (Genesis 2:23)? It is because he’s spiritually alive! You need to spiritually train your spiritual senses to know the will of God.
Q. But can I know the person through dreams?
A. Hmmm… This is a good question Beloved. The first thing you must know is that unbelievers and sinners also dream. This signifies that there are many sources of dream- God, devil, man. So many dear, God can show you your helpmeet through dreams, but never forget that the Devil can also give an “helpmeet” through dreams. In fact, you can initiate a dream by yourself. Just start thinking about that sister, very soon you will start seeing her in your dreams. But, if you are really grounded in the word of God, you will be able to discern… because devil sometimes manifest as an angel of light (1 Corinthians 11:14-15) …but we are not ignorant of his devices (2 Corinthians 2:11) …because we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16b). hallelujah!!!
