LOVE
Love is a strong feeling of affection towards someone or something. Love is to care deeply about and to be dedicated to someone or something. 1 John 3:16-18 explain everything about love. God is love and love is the nature of God. Love is the most important virtue that every Christian should have and it is a commandment from God.
How Can We Show Love?
- Honoring others above ourselves
- Giving sacrificially and cheerfully
- Bearing one another burden
- Correcting ourselves in love
- Winning souls
- Forgiving freely
- Interceding for our fellow ones
- Readiness to serve one another
- Helping brethren in difficult situations
- Rejoicing with those are rejoicing
Attributes of Love
- Love does not hurt
- Love does not give up
- Love is kind and compassionate
- Love is truthful
- Love is considerate
- Love is sincere and genuine
- Love edifies and strengthen
- Love is a bond of perfection
The law is fulfilled in this that we should love one another Romans 13:10
Benefit of This Love
- Our conscience will be cleared, even when we stand before the Lord
- Perfect assurance and trust when we come to the Lord
- We get whatever we ask for from God because we are obeying Him and doing the things that please Him.
