TOPIC: THE LOVE OF GOD
TEXT: JOHN 3:16
When we talk about God’s kind of love, it is an agape love, a sacrificial love and an unconditional love. It is not a give and take kind of love. God’s love is express in charity, sacrifice and not self-centered. 1John 4:9-10.
Nothing qualifies us for God’s love and therefore nothing can also disqualify us from God’s love. The reason God loved us cannot be trace down to any qualifications (Romans 5:8). And His love was expressed to us by GIVING. For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten for us to be restored and saved.
Characteristics of God’s Love

Selfless
Unconditional
True
Patience
Kind
And as the father has loved us, loving him back is not an obligation but a natural response. Any display of love that is not according to God’s pattern is LUST. The simple acronyms for LUST is;
L – Love
U – Under
S – Satan’s
T – Territory
