NAME

The name of the fellowship is The Apostolic Church Studentsโ€™ Fellowship of Nigeria (TACSFON) LAUTECH Chapter.

MOTTO AND LOGO

The fellowship bears the same name, logo and motto with the National body of which is โ€˜Let no man despise thy youthโ€™ (I Tim.4: 12).

MEMBERSHIP

Members of the fellowship include students, Alumni and believers of like mind.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  • To reach the lost youths of The Apostolic Church.
  • To engage in Bible teaching which will build the youths to become useful vessels in the church.
  • To further assist in inculcating the spirit of evangelism in the youth of the church.
  • To serve as a unifying force or an instrument of unity both within and outside the church.
  • To uphold The Apostolic Vision of the first century.
  • To help in teaching the little children through Sunday school and other useful programmes (children evangelism).

The aims and objectives could be achieved through the following:

  • Song ministration
  • Cassette ministration
  • Conferences
  • Mission and village outreach
  • Evangelism
  • Other spiritual Activities.

WHAT WE BELIEVE AND TEACH

  • The unity of the Godhead and the Trinity of the persons therein.
  • The utter depravity of the human nature, the necessity for repentance and regeneration and eternal doom of the finally impenitent.
  • The virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension and abiding intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ, second coming and millennial reign upon the earth.
  • Justification and sanctification of the believer through the finished work of Christ.
  • The baptism of the Holy Ghost with signs following
  • The nine gifts of the Holy Ghost for the edification, exhortation and comfort the church, which is the body of Christ.
  • The sacrament of baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper.
  • The divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures.
  • Church government by Apostle, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Elders, and Deacons.
  • The possibility of falling from grace.
  • The obligatory nature of tithes and offerings.
